[katello-devel] Manage Organizations

Hello everyone,

As a follow up to the discussion on managing orgs in an interstitial page and how it impacts the current permissions model, Kyle and I discussed how we could adjust the UI a bit more. Here's our proposal -

We will have a 2 step log in - on the first page, the log in will look like how it is today but instead of the Login button, there will be a next button leading to a slide out page where the user will be presented the list of orgs they have permissions to see. The user makes a selection from this list and then presses the login button. They will then be launched straight into the landing page for Katello with the org switcher presenting the selected org. They will of course be able to switch orgs they have access to or choose the 'Manage Org' link at the bottom of the org switcher.

But since this is buried in a more 'lightweight' widget like the Org switcher and since this is another administer activity, we will have the full manage org features available for only those with permissions in the administer area.  'Manage Organizations' within the Org switcher will link up to this page.
