[katello-devel] Clone content-view definition

Sachin,

I think that cloning a content view definition should copy over its contents (repos, products) and its filters but not its views. I tested Katello and it did not copy over the filters which I think is a bug.

Thanks.

David

| Subject: [katello-devel] Clone content-view definition
|
| Hi,
|
| I created a content view (CV) definition e.g. cv1, then selected a repo
| from content tab and finally publish it after applying some filters.
|
| Now, if I clone the cv1 then what should be actually copied over ? I'm
| assuming cloned definition should also show
| - published view
| - added filters
| - selected product/repo
|
| Currently, I can see only contents. Published view and added filters are
| not visible in cloned definition. Is it expected or a bug ?
|
| Thank you.
| -Sachin
