I'm no expert here, coming from the customer POV.  However, I'd like to
see something better than osad.  Several suggestions on Spacewalk site &
lists.  Conversations/tickets seem to close down with "System Engine
will be replacing this product" (blurring the lines of project/product
there I know).

Func has been suggested, as has AMQP.  There just has to be *some*
alternative to osad. To provide more robust and more flexible solution.

I may be (m|w)ildly off target here, however.
