We may want to discuss if we want to really limit ourselves to 
postgres.  I know there was some previous discussion of supporting 
oracle installations (on customer's oracle instances) sometime in the 
future, so we need to keep that requirement in mind assuming it still 
exists.   We don't test on these other databases and I'm sure we 
probably have some issue preventing it from working 100%, but we don't 
want to intentionally paint ourselves into a corner.
