Mike,

There may be other places but you can use the kernel-parameters.txt in
kernel source documentation directories.

I don't understand exactly what APIC does but it has to do with managing
multiple CPUs; APCI deals with power management.

Where would I find "<whatever other options...>" ?  I didn't know there were
any.

Also, is it apci or apic?
