Users + kikstart

The man pages say -p is 'username as returned by crypt'

But I've reason to belive that isn't quite so, It should be just whatever you 
want to end up in /etc/shadow and use to confirm your users passwords.

So if you were using crypt then crypt would be suitable.

However if you use md5 passwords, as most people do now?, you should pass 
those.

For some reason I like to create my users with 3 lines

/usr/sbin/useradd -u 5000 username
/usr/bin/chfn -f 'Full Name xTelephoneExtension' username
/usr/sbin/usermod -p '$1$ufc1f0$f8pM9Hf.e5k92IhCS2tmh.' username

one way to generate those is with grub-md5-crypt
