Problem with installing system using ICH8

We are trying to run a CentOS 4.5 install on Tyan GT14
Sata Hard Drives are not found.

We can install on Tyan GS14 and then move the drives to the GT14
and the system boots OK.

Chipset on the GT14 is;
Intel Q965 (Broadwater) MCH
SMSC SCH5027 Super I/O
SMSC EMCD103HWM
