Can you be more specific about the error messages you are trying to fix with
this patch?

In any case, copy&paste generally doesn't work with patches as mailers like to
wrap long lines do other ugly things to the patch. Thus the patch as you sent
it won't apply at all. It's safer to use git send-email.
