Is the host name in the URI referring to this vCenter? In this case
you need to use a vpx:// style URI:

virch -c vpx://vcenter-server/datacenter/esx-server?no_verify=1&auto_answer=1

But actually libvirt should complain if you use a esx:// URI to
connect to a vCenter server.
