[Linux-cluster] incompatible configurations

Check your /etc/hosts file on each machine.  If the hostname is in the 
loopback address line (127.0.0.1) take it out and retry.

i.e.
s/127.0.0.1 san1 localhost.localdomain localhost/127.0.0.1		
localhost.localdomain localhost/
