Re: [Linux-cluster] GFS questions to have a final decision

Hello again,

Thank you alot for your reply , but i want to ask a final question about the gfs which is :

i have 2 nodes and a shared and now the lock server ----> and as our supplier said that we have to have three GFS packages , .......  my question is : can i use only one GFS package to implement on the 2 nodes and the lock server at the same time ?

i mean   is it enough to use only one package for my environment now for testing without having any problem with the license in this case ????????????????????????????????????

and thank you again for your help .

IMHO, you don't need a third server just to run the "lock server". You can run the lock server on one of the two nodes... this is the configuration I use: two HP DL380 G3 servers running GFS to simultaneously access MSA 1000...

I dont know whether ML370 is supported by V3...
