Re: [linux-lvm] lv inactive after reboot

i still can not get this LV to come up as active after a vgscan -ay. I
have to activate it manually with lvchange.

is this a known problem? is there a fix?

details left out of original mail: LVM v0.8final with 2.3.99-pre9,
thru 2.4.0-test8. so problem would seem to be in the userland tools.

Also: there are a *lot* of patches floating around to fix various
problems. (eg my tools have a fix from michael marxmeier). It'd be
nice if there was a nice release with all the fixes blessed by
Heinz. would make life a bit easier.

anyway...

thanks,

Paul Jakma.
