[linux-lvm] LVM Hang/Crash during resize2fs after adding new PV

Hello,

Today i tried to run e2fsck on my volume but it just hangs. i tried to mount 
it, it hangs.
Do I dare to reboot or will the machine refuse to start when it tries to 
mount the lost LVM volume?
