i have a usb harddrive with a number of partitions that are tied together
in a volume group, over which one logical partition has been created.

the problem is that the system to which this disk was attached via usb got
corrupted.

i dont have any access to the configuration of the volume group and logical
partitions.

is there a way by which i could rebuild the configuration by having lvm
"interpret" the usb drive?

how would i got about doing something like this?

thanks for your feedback.
