Hi,
I believe there are cmap issues in Lohit-Telugu.ttf (2.5.1).
The following Unicode’s are mapped to “square/missing glyph”:
Glyph 108 -> U+FFBC
Glyph 109 -> U+FFBD
Glyph 110 -> U+FFBE
Glyph 111 -> U+FFBF
Glyph 112 -> U+FFC0
Glyph 113 -> U+FFC1
Glyph 114 -> U+FFC2
Glyph 115 -> U+FFC3
Glyph 116 -> U+FFC4
Glyph 117 -> U+FFC5
Glyph 118 -> U+FFC6
Glyph 119 -> U+FFC7
Glyph 120 -> U+FFC8
Glyph 121 -> U+FFC9
Glyph 122 -> U+FFCA
Glyph 123 -> U+FFCB
Glyph 124 -> U+FFCC
Glyph 125 -> U+FFCD
Glyph 126 -> U+FFCE
Glyph 127 -> U+FFCF
Glyph 128 -> U+FFD0
Glyph 129 -> U+FFD1
Glyph 130 -> U+FFD2
Glyph 131 -> U+FFD3
Glyph 132 -> U+FFD4
Glyph 133 -> U+FFD5
Glyph 134 -> U+FFD6
Glyph 135 -> U+FFD7
Glyph 136 -> U+FFD8
Glyph 137 -> U+FFD9
Glyph 138 -> U+FFDA
Glyph 139 -> U+FFDB
Glyph 140 -> U+FFDC
Glyph 141 -> U+FFDD
Glyph 142 -> U+FFDE
Glyph 143 -> U+FFDF
Glyph 144 -> U+FFE0 <---- FULLWIDTH CENT SIGN
Glyph 145 -> U+FFE1 <---- FULLWIDTH POUND SIGN
Glyph 146 -> U+FFE2 <---- FULLWIDTH NOT SIGN
Glyph 147 -> U+FFE3 <---- FULLWIDTH MACRON
Glyph 151 -> U+FFE7
Glyph 152 -> U+FFE8
Glyph 153 -> U+FFE9
Glyph 154 -> U+FFEA
Glyph 155 -> U+FFEB
Glyph 156 -> U+FFEC
Glyph 157 -> U+FFED
Glyph 158 -> U+FFEE
Glyph 159 -> U+FFEF
Glyph 160 -> U+FFF0
Glyph 161 -> U+FFF1
Glyph 162 -> U+FFF2
Why are they mapped at all? I think they should be removed.
This is an issue using Lohit-Telugu on an Android device. The 2d graphics
lib, skia, setup a font fallback chain and Lohit-Telugu hides “FULL WIDTH
*” marked above. They should be returned from DroidSansFallback.ttf.
