[Ovirt-devel] RFC: make "next" the default branch

Since most activity happens on "next" these days,
we're considering making that the default branch upon clone.
That would simplify several common scenarios.

On the positive side, it will let us simplify both
documentation and build procedures (there have been more than
a few misunderstandings due to development proceeding on "next"
and that not being the default).

On the down side, it's slightly nonstandard.

Thoughts?  objections?
