Dear All,

I have configured LDAP+SAMBA PDC server in Mandriva 2006.It is working
fine. Then i configured LDAP client in FC4.I have mounted LDAP users home
directory using pam_mount+smbfs.

Now i am able to login through GNOME.I got my home directory.Everything is
working fine.

When i do the same configuration in FC5, i am facing one problem. Here i am
using cifs instead of smbfs.(bcoz.,smbmount is not available in FC5)

Problem: In FC5 i got my home directory. But when i try to create a file or
directory i am getting this ERROR.

########################################################
#touch testfile
touch: setting times of `testfile': Permission denied
#########################################################

Note: But file has been created with the owner root
 -rw-rw-r-- 1 root root 0 Oct 6 19:27 testfile

my pam_mount version is pam_mount-0.9.25

Note: The same problem is there in SUSE 10.1(pam_mount+cifs) and
FC3(pam_mount+smbfs).

I tried all the possible permissions to directories and configuration
files.It didn't work.

I don't know what is the problem exactly. How do i solve this problem. Can
someone please help on this.

Thanks & Regards
