hi, all.

a note to those of you who are creating/editing pages on the PatternFly web site:

chris noticed a bug where links to a specific section of a page (known technically as “navigating to a fragment identifier” [1]) were being partially obscured by the fixed navbar. i’ve deployed a fix for the bug, but you should note that the fix is specific to only h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, and p elements so as to avoid creating problems with other element types on the page. so, if a page you’ve created uses fragment identifiers for navigation and is afflicted by the bug, please update your identifiers. i’ve updated https://www.patternfly.org/wikis/patterns/pattern-development/pattern-editing-tips/ accordingly.

a note about heading elements:

headings have semantic meaning. please use them!
Heading
may achieve the visual styling you’re looking for, but is not semantically equivalent to a heading.
