I don't know. I don't even know whether all text editing areas in
Mozilla are based on the same widget and how much gtk+ affected
Mozilla internally. I could not even give accurate steps on how to
reproduce it, since I don't know what special sequence of operations
triggers the bug (or memory consumption) or whether it is just a
matter of time or total number of operations. Maybe mouse
cut'n'paste operations must be involved. Maybe it has been fixed
meanwhile. At some point in time one starts moving on to a different
application which doesn't have such a bug. When posting to text box
forms with Mozilla, I usually prepare my text in a separate editor
and only cut'n'paste it into the box. That way I avoid heavy
editing. I won't change that habit just to see whether the bug is
still present.
