Unfortunately one of the changes in those release broke publican
for me :-(

The called template 'id.attribute' was not found.

This call-template appears in the "footnote" template in
datadir/xsl/xhtml-common.xsl.

The offending commit is:

I have docbook-xsl 1.76.1. Did the minimal version required change?
