Can we please avoid this kind of requirement?

IMO it's not really acceptable to require the usage of patched versions of
dependencies. You should really find some work-around until there's a
released version with the fix.

In this case, it's a trivial change in Users_Guide/en-US/Sets.xml,
just replace “<programlisting language="xml">” with
“<programlisting language="XML">”.
