OT - modeline question

Cetainly. The machine goes to 1680x1050 as desired, and this shows up in 
the log file. However, when we attempt to create a modeline for 
1680x1050 the machine will not go to that mode. Possibly it's a sync 
issue, or a refresh frequency issue, or something else. We haven't 
figured it out.
