I have installed gnome, KDE and xfce. I tried gnome first with the default
user and also tried xfce, but no change. I dont understand what do you
mean by " plenty of horsepower" ?

Did the above but no change for the new user. It behaves the same
way. Please somebody give some more clue...!!!
