FC4 Failed install.

Hi Bob.
Thanks for the info it worked.
Now I can begin booting but it hangs at"Initializing hardware... storage
network audio"
My installation is prtty ordinary. I have one 10G HD partitioned by the FC
authomatic config.
I am trying to install the minimum.

Depends on how far it got.  It's worth seeing if you can get a boot
configuration running on it.  Boot your first CD to rescue mode (enter
"linux rescue" at the boot: prompt).  Let it mount your system on
/mnt/sysimage, and then

  chroot /mnt/sysimage
  cat /boot/grub/grub.conf

If it looks like a reasonable config file, then

  grub-install /dev/hda
  exit
  exit # yeah, twice.

Pop out the CD and see if it boots properly.

This all assumes a pretty ordinary installation.  If you are dual booting,
or using a different boot drive, you need to clue us in, especially on the
the partition table.
