See if you can find a 64-bit version of the .sys files for the card's
Windows driver (not likely, but worth a shot).

There are some.  Check www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tourrilhes/Linux/
for some links.  Note that a number of makers do not have open-source
drivers for wireless, and some (are you listening TI and Broadcom?)
won't even publish the chip specs to allow someone else to write one.
In other words, don't get a board with TI or Broadcom chips on it.
