Funny kernel panick error

Ewwww!  Yes, that's a hardware glitch.  In a uniprocessor system, there
are several possible causes.  One is a dirty CPU socket.  Another is a
misaligned PCI card.  A third is a hosed interrupt controller (APIC).

First step:  Power down and open the box.  Second, check the PCI slots
and make sure the cards are aligned well.  If you have a card that
doesn't line up exactly correctly with the pins in the socket, lots of
weirdness can ensue, and if you've moved the box, the chassis can rack
enough to cause an issue.  Try reseating all of your PCI cards.  You
might want to reseat your RAM while you're there.

Third, try reseating your CPU.  Try to get memtest86 to run.

If none of that helps, your APIC or support circuitry may be cooked.
There's not much you can do about that unless you're fairly skilled with
desoldering and replacing surface-mount chips.  At that point, it may be
time for a new mobo.
