Enlarging Space

I have a server at work with faulty raid disks (SATA). I have replaced
them, but the size is larger and over course, breaking a mirror and
installing a larger drive in it utilized only the amount of space that was
used on the older drive.

In AIX I can run:

chfs -a size=+NNNNN /FileSystem

to add NNNNN 512K blocks to /FileSystem

Is there a similar command on Redhat v9? I found xfs_growfs on FC4, but
can't find it on RH9. Besides, it doesn't look like it would be what I
need as the filesystem to be grown is / and it's an ext3 fs.
