Installing Linux /Storage area network

Hi!!

I am new to working with SAN and have never setup one before. I have a
DELL 6850 server and Ax100 storage. Has any one in the group done this
before? If so I would like some tips on the things I need to take care
of before I start. Also any comments on the performance of the 64 bit
operating system. I heard there are some problems if the libraries are
not installed. Thanks for your help.
