Thanks. I saw them What will be the standard lines shall I include in
.bash_profile. Example   ^H backspace and terminal and tty stuff.

/etc/skel should already be populated with certain files.
You may be seeing nothing because they will be hidden from a normal ls
command.
try
ls -a /etc/skel

you should see (at the very least)
/etc/skel/.bash_profile
/etc/skel/.bashrc
/etc/skel/.bash_logout

and probably many others.

when you run useradd bob, these files should be copied to /home/bob.
