Hi again,
It looks like you could try plugging the boot disk into the Jmicron
SATA controller, or get the ICH8 driver from here:
http://www.intel.com/cd/channel/reseller/asmo-na/eng/products/linux/feature/319373.htm
not a lot of support for that chipset from RedHat it seems,
