"(13) Permission denied: couldn't grab the accept mutex" error in apache log

Hello,

I m having problems getting apache to start with SSL enabled.


In the error_log file fpr apache, I see the following error messages:

Apache is exiting!

I have configured apache with the following flags:

CPPFLAGS=-I/usr/kerberos/include ./configure --enable-so --enable-ssl --enable-rewrite  --prefix=/usr/local/apache2


When I try to start apache with the following command,

/usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -DSSL -f /usr/local/apache2/conf/httpd.conf   , httpd exits with the above errors in the error_log file.

Please help me in finding out what could be the cause for this error.
