Hi Michael
Make sure the following things are done
1. Registered domain name ex: MYHOME.COm
2. MX Record entry for that for your domain in DNS servers list ( contact your ISP)
3.Configure your sendmail server with registered domain name
4.Start the required services in Linux box.
steps 3 & 4 can be done with help of any sendmail known guy.But steps 1 & 2 are mandatory to deliver your mail out side world.
