Connecting to the "Red Hat Network"

I recently purchased Red Hat EL ES.  Currently I am testing the
installation.  The server hostname and IP are temporary while I build
the machine and learn Red Hat.

Should I "register" and "connect to the red hat network" now, or will
that give me problems later, when I change the IP and hostname?  Is
the support network for updates forgiving about IP/name changes
(assuming I only have one active at a time)?

Any other issues I should be aware of?
