iso and cdrecord

nope.
it should be that easy.
If you are not sure what your device settings are then try
cdrecord -scanbus
as root.
you can then edit your /etc/cdrecord.conf file if you choose
or alternatively (depending what your device is)
cdrecord dev=1,0,0 -v -eject file.iso
