mozilla: mailto is not a registered protocol

When I click on a "mailto" link on a web page I get an error message
pop-up that says:

	mailto is not a registered protocol

Same thing happens with Mozilla and Firefox. Konqueror sends me to
evolution which is OK by me.

I am using KDE instead of Gnome, but I created a new user and left all
the settings at the default. I still have the same problem with that the
new user.

Using RHEL WS 3.0.

How do I configure Mozilla and Firefox to use evolution as email client?
