Hi,

no, I haven't updated or installed a new kernel. When I ran the rpm -V
kernel command I got the response ..M../dev/shm.
Does this mean that there's no intruder ?

thanks
Lisa

Have you installed a new kernel, used up2date and updated the kernel? Do you
get ..MD5.. when you execute rpm -V kernel or do you just get ..M../dev/shm
In the first case your kernel have changed. Could be an intruder.
