Kernel 2.6 and Kernel 2.4

If you're using Fedora Core 2, then go with the kernel that comes with it 
(2.6). it's less headache, and updates will run more smoothly. Otherwise you 
have to compile your own kernel and update it yourself. Just make sure you 
understand what you're going into though. Fedora Core has no official 
support, and the life cycle is rather short for production environment, 
although fedoralegacy.com may provide some support / updates after its life 
cycle. Of course, test your configuration before you put in into production.
