Ethernet card not initializing

Hi all,

I have a linux box on which I installed a new copy of RH 9. However for
some reason the network card does not work. Below is the error that I am
getting when I try to do 'service network restart'

sundance device eth0 does not seem to be present delaying initialization

The sundance module was not getting loaded, hence I tried 'modprobe
sundance'. However I get 'insmod sundance failed' error.

Any ideas on what I can do inorder to get it working.
