GNOME meesed up

Hi,

I have a computer installed Red-Hat 8.0. Each time
rebooting the system, it gives an error "Failed to
activate Setting Daemon". Now, I want to restore GNOME
Control Center RPM, also, KDE desktop packages.
What packages will I get from installation CDs? Do I
use the command "rpm -i name_package" to unpack the
package ?
