Wrong move, IMO. You may have destroyed evidence if your machine has been 
compromised. If you belive something is 'not right' with your machine, 
collect evidence and proceed carefully to determine if it has been 
compromised or not, trying not to destroy anything in the process. Treat your 
machine (data, files, etc) as a 'crime scene'. You dont just throw away stuff 
that you dont know in the crime scene.
