Define resources....

`lspci` (part of pciutils package) will give you a listing on your PCI
devices
`cat /proc/meminfo` will show you your memory allocation
`cat /proc/cpuinfo` will show your info on your cpu types
`cat /proc/swaps` will show your allocated swap information

Then there is `top` to show system resource usage in semi-real time.
`iostat`, `vmstat` are more granular at the above....

A real engineer only resorts to documentation when the keyboard dents on the forehead get too noticeable.
