hi... in general, how do i build an app using ./configure make make install and have the output/executable be placed in a directory other than the one where the app is being built... i can't seem to find the right switch.. nor do i know if it should be for the "./configure" or the "make install"... thanks bruce bedouglas at earthlink.net
