Dell 1850 & RedHat 4: Video Problem

Id uninstall the xorg stuff, reinstall the older version, put xorg* in the ignore list for up2date.
Or once you've installed the older version again, copy xorg.conf somewhere safe and install the newer version again, and overwrite the xorg.conf with your saved one.

Personally I've put xorg* in my ignore list as our prod machines only ever boot to init 3 anyway :)
