g4u is the better solution, but you can get it with a simple tar command:

tar -czpSf /mnt/backup/copiaSeguridad.tgz /boot /etc /initrd /sbin /usr /bin
/de

After this, you can untar the file in the new minimal installation of the
new server.

You can also do software mirroring with built-in raid tools.
