hi,

just use the another disk suppose that old harddisk is hda and new harddisk
is hdb(both harddisk have same space), boot your system (if you boot in
single usermod than it is good ) and at the command prompt use the dd
command " dd if=/dev/hda of=/dev/hdb " (it will take a lot time ;-( ) this
will create the exact clone harddisk with the same configuration. i have
used this on my system also.
