I don't think that's supported right now.  Check the dm-devel list and
get some feedback there.  It might work if you used Veritas DMP but I
don't think dm-multipath supports it.

I've got a couple of test boxes waiting to be set up that will have Veritas
Foundation Suite on it so I'll be running it through its paces (testing
qlogic failover vs dmp, ext3 vs vxfs, Veritas Cluster File System vs Red
Hat's GFS).  You're making me want to add SAN booting to my test
suite...

I'd seriously think about Foundation Suite.  Use DMP for your
multipathing and Veritas LVM for software mirroring across your arrays.
Foundation Suite is actually fairly cheap.  You'll pay less for the
suite than you will for a single HBA.
