RHEL 5 Network problems - eth0: e1000_clean_tx_irq: Detected Tx Unit Hang - solved

Hi,

brand new means, that there hasn't been any software installed yet. 
Sorry for confusing.

The Problem was, that one of the two intel e1000 NIC has the power 
management function that enabled. :-(

The solution and diagnostic steps are found here:

Applying the suggested steps solved the problem immediately.
