installing packages with yum

Or you can get it via the EPEL repositories. Normally it's not a good idea to blindly mix third party repositories. Do some research to make sure that the packages each 3rd party repo provides won't overwrite changes made by other rpms.

phpmyadmin is not available in the standard redhat-repos, but you can obtain it from rpmforge or
remi-repo:
