Bind version on RHEL 5

Hello,

I'm running RHEL 5.4 on my nameserver, and I have a question regarding the
version of bind..
the package that is installed is bind-9.3.6-4.P1.el5 (the latest from redhat
atm)

If you take a look at https://www.isc.org/products/BIND/ so is BIND 9.6.1-P1
current stable release

What version of bind is it Redhat uses? are the using a very old version or
am I only confused? :-)
