Windows to Linux File Transfer (Automatically)

Hey Guys,
I am facing a problem in transfering files from windows to linux. I have to Transfer some files from a windows xp machine to linux machine automatically as the files have to be transfered on every interval of 30 min, but i am transferring files manually and sometimes i am not able transfer files on time and this creates a lot of issues in my servers. so can anyone help me out or provide me some software which helps me transferring the files on every interval of period required.
